Network – Connecting to CCSF OnCampus Wifi Network

CCSF Guest Internet access for faculty, staff, students, and visitors. Click though splash page every 24hrs All indoor areas of CCSF

Students

  • To access CCSF Student for the first time requires entering a common password/WPA key which is “freewireless4all”
  • On the next screen, enter the students unique RAM ID which is the Student ID number and their unique password.
  • This access will need to be re-established every 90 days.

Additional Information

  • In-person assistance with WiFi services is available at the ACRC Lab in Batmale Hall, 3rd floor.
  • There are also login instructions and other information on the CCSF website at the following link: https://www.ccsf.edu/wifi

Employee

  • To access CCSF Staff for the first time requires entering a common password/WPA key which is “freewireless4all”.
  • On the next screen, enter the employees unique RAM ID which is typically first initial followed by last name and their unique password.
  • This access will need to be re-established every 90 day

Additional Information

  • In-person assistance with WiFi services is available at the ACRC Lab in Batmale Hall, 3rd floor.

Guests

  • To access CCSF Guest no WPA key is required
  • Directly select “Continue to the Internet” from the splash page
  • This access will need to be re-established every 24 hours.

Non-Computer Devices (phones, tablets, gaming devices, etc.)

  • Process is the same for each group regardless of device, however, device must be capable of displaying a web page for splash authentication.

 


Connecting to the on-campus WIRED network

Students

  • Wired network access for students varies by location.

Employee

  • Use the unique RAM ID which is typically first initial followed by last name and their unique password.
  • An exception to this is teacher stations in Smart Classrooms at various locations across the college. In these rooms the login id is “instructor” and password is “CCSF1935”

Guests

Non-Computer Devices (phones, tablets, gaming devices, etc.)

  • Non-computer access to the wired network is only available for the ITS Department.
